Ultem® (PEI – Polyetherimide)
Ultem® PEI (polyetherimide) is an amorphous, high-strength thermoplastic known for its excellent heat resistance, dimensional stability, and flame resistance. It maintains mechanical properties at elevated temperatures while offering good electrical insulation and chemical resistance, making it suitable for demanding structural and electrical applications.
Ultem® components are commonly produced through extrusion, injection molding, and machining, with glass-reinforced grades available to increase stiffness and load-bearing capability.
