Company History
Founded in 1969 by industry pioneer Gino Roncelli, Roncelli began as Roncelli Plastics, Inc. with a clear, forward-looking vision. A 10-year veteran of the plastics industry, Gino recognized early that the rise of computing, then driven by mainframe systems for government and large enterprises, would fundamentally reshape the world. He positioned the company to support that transformation, laying the groundwork for steady growth and long-term opportunity.
Over the decades, Roncelli evolved alongside technology itself. In the 1980s, the company expanded into semiconductors, aerospace, and space exploration, supporting the growth of NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory near its Monrovia, California headquarters. The 1990s brought significant investment in CNC machining, followed by the addition of injection molding and 3D printing in the 2000s. In the 2010s, Roncelli introduced its first ISO Class 6 cleanroom and cleaning capabilities, expanding them further in the 2020s. That same decade marked a new chapter with international expansion into Penang, Malaysia, and the acquisition of Chavers Gasket Corporation extending capabilities into die cutting and stamping. Today, Roncelli Technologies operates as a precision manufacturing leader, innovation partner, and end-to-end solutions provider, trusted across mission-critical industries and focused on shaping what’s next.
